 ANNE'S BOOK CARNIVAL

Orange, CA 92866 Book Carnival is a store that caters to collectors seeking signed, first editions or the person who wants to find that "special" book that has particular meaning to them. They specialize in Mysteries and Romantic Suspense, a tradition that began over 30 years ago when Ed & Pat Thomas opened the store.
In Sept 2010, Book Carnival was purchased by long-time customer Anne Saller. Anne gave the store a bright, clean make-over and has been rewarded by authors and customers loyal to the store. Book Carnival regularly hosts author book discussions and signings, as well as a monthly book club.

GROUNDS FOR MURDER

San Diego, CA 92115 Grounds for Murder was one of the earliest brick-and-mortar mystery specialty bookstores in the country. Although it closed in 1999, Phyllis Brown is now selling her stock of more than 5,000 used, rare, and collectible books by appointment and via e-mail.

 Steve Powell has been a full time bookseller since 1983, originally focusing primarily on mysteries by mail. Under the name of Crime, Mystery, Detective Books he published a total of 60 catalogs between 1983 and 1991. In 1991 he formed Dunn and Powell Books, Inc. with William Dunn of Meriden, CT until Bill's retirement at the end of 2010. In 2008 he opened Mystery Cove Book Shop in picturesque Hulls Cove, Maine, aiming to fill the need for a well stocked general book store in the community. For Steve and co-owner Barbara Baron Gifford Mystery Cove Book Shop remains a full time endeavor.  Kennebunk, ME 04043 MAINELY MURDERS is an independent specialty mystery bookstore devoted exclusively to suspense, crime, and detective fiction. Located in Kennebunk, Maine, our stock of more than 10,000 (and growing every day) used, recent and hard-to-find hardcover, trade paper, and mass market volumes range from classics and cozies to tough guys and thrillers.
It's our goal to provide not only books by today's mystery writers but also those of their predecessors. A long-time member expanded by opening a second store

The store occupies approximately 4,000 square feet in a 6,000 square foot building that is shared with a café/coffee house tenant. The new store honors all of MG's traditional genres (SF, Fantasy, Mystery, Suspense, and Horror) and young adult fiction, while expanding to include a list of curated literature and fiction titles.
